Hello everyone!

 

Hamster Hideout Forum will be embarking on a reorganisation of the "Other Hobbies and Interests" and expansion of "Other Animals and Pets" sub-forums.

 

In order to do that, we have to move some of the older topics around the sub-forums. Hence, you may see topics older than 6 months old being "unarchived". Topics have to be unarchived before they can moved. Please do not reply to these old topics.

He probably meant, deleting old topics, archiving old topics, moving topics into the proper place, ect. Ect.

Looking at the "Other Hobbies and Interests" forums, I'd think they're probably collapsing some forums that don't get used much (Food, Books, Writer's Corner, Movies and Drama, Music and Instruments, Art and Photography - these could probably be collapsed into a few groups eg. "Entertainment", and "Art and Photography"), and expanding the "Other Animals and Pets" board, as this is very popular and could probably be split into sub-forums for different species. Just my thoughts

The sub-forums within should be pretty self-explanatory. Take note of pinned topic guidelines within the sub-forums if any. The existing sub-forum "Other Animals and Pets" will no longer accept new topics but you may still reply to existing ones. Our mods team will be hard at work moving them to the new category in the meantime.

 

The Other Hobbies and Interests sub-forum has also been streamlined. Topics have been moved into the broad sub-forums:

- Agony Aunt
- Artists' Corner
- Beauty & Fashion
- Books
- Cheers to Good Health and Fitness!
- Food, Glorious Food
- Writers' Corner
- Media and Entertainment
- Music
- Photographers' Corner
- School and Education

 

If you can't find an existing topic, chances are it has been moved into HH Cafe because it does not fit into any above.

I want to take this time to thank dusty so much for his time and efforts on this.  This was an enormous amount of work on his part, and we are all so truly grateful that he was willing to do this for the betterment of the forum.  Thank you so, so much dusty!

Aww, my work wasn't really that hard because I just need to click buttons all over, haha. I think it's much harder to come out with great ideas for the forum so I am very grateful to you, Tax and Hopping, for initiating this.
