Hello HH members!

This is an announcement that effective immediately, we are removing the forum official 450 square inch minimum cage size and the 650 square inch recommended cage size. Going forward, Hamster Hideout will not have an official minimum cage size. There will continue to be cage recommendations in various pinned threads, but there will not be a singular number that is considered the forum standard. I also wish to request that members no longer quote any particular numbers as the forum recommended size, especially when giving opinions on type of cages in use. This is to make recommendations more flexible and to judge cage sizes by common sense and not be ruled by numbers.

We ask for your patience and understanding while we change and edit the existing pinned threads. Please, no heated discussions on the forum, we are all entitled to our opinions but we should not put others down. The best way to provide advice is by setting good examples, not turning people off. :cop:
