How to Resize Photos Set By Step Using Imgur

 

1. Make or log in to your imgur account. (Indicated by red arrows)

 

 

2. Click on your username. 

 

 

3. It will reveal a drop-down menu. Click on "images."

 

 

4. Click the green "add images" button.

 

 

5. Browse your photos, drag/drop, or paste your image link into the box.

 

 

6. Find your image and click on it.

 

 

7. Click the "edit image" button.

 

 

8. Using the box in the corner, change the numbers to make your photo larger or smaller.

(Lower numbers mean a smaller photo, higher numbers mean a larger photo.)

 

 

9. Now click "Save" at the top of your screen.

 

 

10. Copy/Paste your image to HH. (Photo uploading tutorial is here;

11. Enjoy your resized photo!

 

This method can also be used to resize photos for profile pictures/avatars.

Hopefully, this helps people out there that are still confused!

I think its working now. I used the original gif url rather than the direct link

My current profile picture was originally vertical but when I upload it here it turns horizontal. I followed this tutorial and rotated it in imgur and changed the dimensions to what you show and tried to reupload it using the imgur link, but it keeps saying it can't save the url. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
