The Summer Carnival ends on August 11th and will be closed until next summer! If you haven't gotten your free banners, shield, and fireworks and want them, make sure to do so before the 11th!

The Summer Carnival has closed until next year, I hope everyone had an awesome summer! 

 

I am starting a new thing where I will feature a build every week in this thread! It can be a build from survival 1, survival 2, or the creative server! I want everyone to see all your awesome builds! If you are featured, you will receive $100 on your server account. If you weren't featured this week, don't worry, I will be picking a new build to feature each week, yours could be next!

 

If you come on sometimes and no one is on, that doesn't mean you'll never see anyone! I wanted to let everyone know that there are times when more people seem to come on. Usually, not always but usually, people come on anywhere between 2 and 5 PM Pacific Time. Sometimes they come on earlier, and sometimes they stay later. Usually we all seem to meet up in that time range, however. Come join us!

And finally, we have a new shop in the mall! This shop is called "Daisy's Party Store" and it has kits with the perfect items for you to set up a party with friends! I am still putting together more kits, currently 2 kits are for sale in the shop, come check them out! Kits will include items such as fireworks, cake, cookies, and discs to play music!

Whoops, I missed a build of the week, so sorry! So I guess we will have to have 2 builds featured this week!

 

I also wanted to mention that I would like to do something for October. I am for sure going to decorate S1 with pumpkins and other fall decor, but I wanted to do something a little more too, I want to have an event!

 

Now, for this event I have in mind, we would need quite a few people to show up, so I am really hoping we can find a date and time that most of us are able to meet up at in October? I'm planning far ahead, that way we have time to find a day that works for everyone! I would like to have a trick-or-treating event where we go to each other's houses in S1 and give gifts to one another! It can be something as small as an apple or as big as a diamond sword, whatever you wanna give out!

 

In addition to this, I will be having a special Halloween/Fall decor contest, whoever has the best decorated house for October will win $1000 on the server! The winner will be announced on the day we have the trick-or-treating event

Congratulations, x_SkyStar_x! Your tiny house in the creative world looks awesome, and it looks like the snowman and villager staring at it in the picture agree! The tiny farm and flowers surrounding the house were a nice touch, making for a lovely looking little home! $100 will be added to your HH Minecraft server account shortly!

Congratulations, Little_Hamburger! Your bakery in S1 looks really cool! The fact that it was built in survival is amazing, that roof must've taken ages! I also love the little flower planters! $100 will be added to your HH Minecraft server account very soon!

Hi everyone! Just a mini update today with some news I needed to let everyone know! 

 

New Staff!

Please welcome our new moderator, Rosemary12Aspen, also known as x_SkyStar_x in-game! If you ever need to report something and I'm not online, but she happens to be, you may let her know! If you need help with anything around the server and just aren't sure how something works, she might be able to help you as well! 

 

Also welcome our new helper, Oreothehamham, also known as Saesai in-game. Helpers do not handle reports but are there to help you if you need help with things such as server commands or are just puzzled as to how the server works in general. If you're ever confused about these types of things, ask her!  

 

I am still here too as well, if you ever need help or need to report something! If I'm not online, however, and the helper or moderator is, you may get help faster from them! 

 

Fall Decor!

I want to thank Rosemary12Aspen for helping me out decorating spawn recently! We decorated spawn for Fall and it looks totally awesome! Come check it out if you get time! Pumpkins, hay bales, and plenty of orange! Also pumpkin pie available in the "Blue's Groceries" shop for a limited time only! Even the fireworks for reaching the top of the parkour at spawn have changed color for fall!

Hello! School recently started for me so I've been a little more busy than usual and once again missed a couple updates, sorry! If you are in school, I hope all is going well for you too! 

 

Because not many participated in the poll for a day to have an event in October, I'm not sure if we will be doing the trick-or-treating idea or not, it just depends on how many show up . There will, however, be a contest to see who can decorate their house the best for Fall. The winner will receive $1000 on their server account and you can start decorating as soon as you want to, so get to decorating now and a winner will be picked at the end of October! If we get enough people coming to the event, we can also all play some games of hide and seek! I'm not sure how many of you have played that mini game on the server, we don't do it often but it's a lot of fun when we do!

Hi again everyone! Remember, we have an event coming up in October on the 20th at 4:00 PT! Let me know if you plan on coming!

 

I have some big news for this update! The spawn/lobby area is now in it's own separate world and has changed looks drastically. Here are some screenshots:

 

 

Not only did the lobby/spawn get it's own world, so did the minigames area! This area is still under construction, I am in the process of adding more minigame maps. If anyone wants to help with that, let me know!

I know there are a few members who haven't been on in quite a while, and if you are one of them, I'd love to know why! Your feedback matters, it helps me improve the server and make it more enjoyable. If you simply "left" because you are busy, I understand and that is completely fine! I hope to see you on vacations/holidays when you aren't busy. If you don't come on much because you can never catch others on, I'd suggest just checking in every so often, I'm sure you'll eventually catch someone on. There's usually a few people on daily, and sometimes as many as 5 on at once during peak times. 

 

If you ever want to give me feedback on the server, simply PM me, I'd love to hear it! Several people have suggested things already and their ideas greatly improved the server.

Hey everyone! I want to thank everyone who came and participated in the October event! It was so much fun! We had a costume contest, did Halloween puzzles, went on a hunt to find hidden Jack o' lanterns around S1, and a few of us played a couple games of Bedwars. 

 

Oh, speaking of Bedwars, we have a new minigame! In the minigame lobby you can now find a Bedwars sign. This game can be played with 2 people minimum, 3 maximum. The goal is to destroy the other team's beds while protecting your own! Once someone's bed is destroyed, they will not re-spawn.

 

So our costume contest included five participants. Here are our winners! (By the way, the one with no name is me ):

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an awesome Halloween if you celebrate!

Since Halloween is over, the S1 spawn is back to normal, and the normal daylight cycle in the S1 world has been restored! 

 

After Halloween... comes November... and what comes after November? December! I don't know about you, but Christmas is my favorite holiday, when it becomes November I already am excited for the holidays and am ready to listen to Christmas music, lol! Anyways, my point was, in December I would like to do an advent calendar, so everyday from the 1st until the 24th of December, you can login to get a gift! I definitely plan on doing this if you all are interested, but I'd like to know what type of prizes/gifts you'd like... Food? Money? Blocks? What is it you'd like to receive?.. Or would you like it to be a complete surprise so you have no idea what you're going to get? 

 

I also want to ask far ahead of time so you all have time to plan - would you be interested in a December event, similar to the one we did in October? We would have a scavenger hunt, puzzles, games, contests, etc.. What time of the month would work best for this? I'm homeschooled so I'm not even sure when "normal" school kids get their break lol. Please, feel free to reply to this thread!

Secondly, we have a new admin! Our new admin is known by the nickname ~Sabra on the server, and on HH she is RoboRosie44! She is an awesome builder and built some cool new things for the server, take a look at the new area she made at spawn, it displays all of our server members and staff!

It's been a great 8 months on our original 1.12.2 server, but because Minecraft has updated to 1.13.2, we chose to update the server as well. This means that the current creative world, survival 1 world, and survival 2 world, will all be reset, but you'll be able to explore a whole new set of worlds with the new ocean features added in 1.13.2 included!

 

I love everyone's builds and would like to preserve them, so I will be moving select builds from the current creative world over to the new creative world. I also would like to make a sort of "museum" to remember our original S1 world, I will move over some of my favorite builds and protect them so that you can go back and visit them for fun and memories anytime. 

 

If you have a specific build you'd like to see moved to either the survival build museum, or the new creative world, please let me know through PM or reply to this topic so I can save it!

 

The current worlds will be disabled in about a week, so you have some time to enjoy them still and let me know what you'd like transferred over. Beta testing for our 1.13.2 worlds will start soon. We estimate that the new S1 beta testing will start in around 1-2 days. 

 

If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this thread, I know this is a big change but I think it'll be fun restarting everything! 

 

EDIT: I have decided that the creative world does not need an update, this world will remain the same and your builds will stay where they are in this world! We don't really need the new 1.13.2 structures and plants to generate in creative, since we don't have to gather materials in creative, and you can easily take the new items from the creative inventory and build with them! So only S1 and S2 are resetting

We have officially switched both S1 and S2 over to brand new worlds! There are tons of new features to explore - swim with dolphins, collect some kelp, explore the tropical jungles, come check it out! Come start a new adventure on 1.13.2!
