Yep, my point exactly :P

I believe it went like.... It was a huge success over here. The US saw it and tried to play it over there. Nobody got it. You made your own version with the same basic premise but with American humour instead. Apparently you find it amusing. We (UK) literally cannot see why.

:D

Yes, but we got John Krasinski and Steve Carell. And you guys got Martin Freeman. I think they’re both equally good.

I know the age of this forum is young, but any office fans out there?

I know this topic is a bit old, but I watched the first few episodes but never continued. I have watched friends though before Netflix removed it lol.

I don't think the humour translates. It originated here in the UK, and from what I've seen of the US version, it's just completely different. It's a completely different style of comedy and aside from the same name and the same sort of setting, it's not the same programme at all :( I am not sure that if you watched the UK series, you would "get it" - if you do, I would be impressed haha... most US folks don't get British humour and the Office is pretty much pinnacle Brit humour...... which is kind of why the US version is so different :-/

Not just to talk about The Office haha but

British shows are basically all my family watches :rotfl:

Most American shows imao are bleh

But we enjoy most british shows

Edit: Just now realising how old this post is haha, but someone responded to the topic so I didn't bother to look at the dates :tired:

Hello everyone, I like offices. I also enjoy working from home, so remote employment appeals to me. But spend all day with the finest team I've ever worked with in the nicest offices I've ever worked in, doing the best job I've ever done, counts as well. Time management is one of the most beautiful and helpful skills that an office setting can offer you. Work, lunch, and tea break hours are generally set in stone in offices. As well, is important to have an appropriate environment to work in the office, so the best decision would be osdoro.com.sg.
