Hi all!

Continuing with the questions! Lol. I know that a lot of you xo crafts for your hamsters or watch videos on crafts for your hamsters, but what crafts do you do for fun for yourself? I’ve seen many people describe themselves as arts and crafts lovers in their descriptions. I was also wondering if anyone knew where to get the white, fluffy yarn for chunky blankets? I’m going to make one.

 

Some of my recommendations: Temonming Air Dry Clay (I use it for putty. If you add water to it it turns into putty. It’s $18 for 48 different colors of clay.), Mini Bake Shop, The chunky blanket kit from A.R Workshop, and the A.R Workshop camp (Has great modern crafts to decorate your room with. I did it this Summer and LOVED it!)

This may not be a craft, but it is kinda artsy -- I really enjoy bullet journaling!

 

Anyway I really like candle making, digital art (if that counts), photography (also if that counts), and much more.

I also do bullet Journaling! Well I use to I sort a abandoned it cuz in quarantine I have no schedule.

I do embroidery, knitting, crochet, felting, collages, soap making, and art in general. I probably missed a few things like always, but I'll edit if I remember.

Edit: I also do cross-stitching, pressing flowers and fall leafs, and paper mache.

That sounds nice. I like it when people frame pressed plants for wall art. I might have to give it a try sometime.

I'm a Sewist and I make clothes for me and my pup, Pippa. 

 

 

I'm also a graphic designer (or at least I spent the past two semesters earning a graduate level certificate in it haha-- I don't know what actually qualifies one to say they are a graphic designer though lol). I sell SVG (vector) files on etsy as passive income. They are all dog themed and are primarily meant to be used with a cricut or silhouette cutting machine. It's Pippa's Pup Up Shop on etsy, if anyone is interested in looking.

I like working with resin and polymer clay, as far as crafting goes. Though I need to figure out where I will be doing this once I get my hammy. I just haven't figured out where I'll be putting his enclosure.

I do not have one particular object in the crafting because I like this activity every day more and more. If I had to choose between the hobbies that I already had, most of all, I was fascinated by crafting. I like to create something with my own hands, especially for my hamsters, which is why I started in the last couple of days to look for different resources to help me learn more about it. The most helpful resource for me was matohash.com. There are so many ideas here I want to try them all.
