Hey people!

 

I'm just sitting here with my beer watching the Wales vs France Rugby match, which I am aware that a whole bunch of people on this forum have no idea what that is LOL. Rugby isn't a thing in the US I don't think?

 

So I thought, what sport are you a fan of or what do you follow? 

 

I know American Football and Baseball are big in the US, not so much anywhere else in the world lol. I have friends who follow American Football so I know some of the teams and I've watched a couple of games. I've never watched baseball. What's your team/player?

 

(Proper) Football is big over in the UK and Europe (what the US calls soccer), I've never really been interested in that! If you're in the EU/UK, do you have a favourite team?

 

My favourite sports that I follow are: 

 

- Rugby Union (currently watching!!!!) - my team is Wales as that's where my family is from though I live in England. If Wales aren't playing in the match then I default to England xD

 

- Formula 1 - I LOVE F1!! I love the technology, the science behind the cars, the personalities. I know that watching cars going around a track isn't for everyone, but I love it. Pre-covid lockdown times I'd always go and watch every race in our local pub in the afternoon and I've been to see races in Silverstone (UK) and Spa (Belgium) and Hungaroring (Hungary) My favourite is obviously Lewis Hamilton, because he's an utter legend.

I don't really follow any sports myself, but I will say that college football is a big thing here in the south! So I often watch it with my father and such. His favorite team is Alabama so I suppose Alabama is the closest thing to any team I follow

Haha, Rugby is a thing in Canada I’m pretty sure it is in the US as well though.

 

I sort of follow hockey and soccer. I support Juventus for soccer and Toronto Maple Leafs for hockey.

Ooh, rugby is cool! I really like baseball, watching and playing. It’s really fun! My favourite team Toronto Blue Jays, I’ve gone to Toronto, Ontario to see them a few years ago.

i really don’t understand or like sports but my boyfriend loves basketball and football so i try to be supportive even if i don’t get it lol

Is Birding a sport?

 

I don't really follow the sportsball. I like animal sports, like show jumping, eventing, agility, tracking, conformation dog shows. The annual draft horse show is always fun, they do 8 in hand fancy hitch.

 

In theory I like hockey, but I wouldn't say I follow it. And archery, if we're talking about sports you enjoy doing.

My family is OBSESSED with the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL team), we watch every game. My mom even went to a party hosted by a friend, and one of the players attended it!

Isn’t baseball actually big in Japan?

In Japan I recall baseball being in the sports section of their newspapers alongside MMA and Sumo.

As for me if talking team based sports I watch NFL (Go Colts!) and NHL (Go Bolts!) but mostly before covid I was a huge combat sports fan mostly UFC and boxing and was getting every card. Wasn’t the same when crowds disappeared and a year later I tune back in and so many fighters I no longer recognize by name.

I only watch sports once a year, and that's for the NFL Super Bowl...LOL.   

And even then, i don't find it too interesting (i mainly watch it for the million dollar ads and halftime show   )

My brother and dad are big Hockey fans, and they’re also Wrestling fans (WWE) although I’m not sure that’s exactly a sport.

The Super Bowl is also on every year, and we watch it (although I’m not too into it).

I think NASCAR is pretty cool, but I don’t watch it much and definitely won’t after this year.

My dream is to learn making bet on football. I love football a lot and I think I understand the basics of the game. I always make forecasts on major football matches and I am right in very many cases. So I think it is the right time to monetize this skill. What do you think? Now, I just to find a reliable platform to try my first bet for real money. I will appreciate if you have some tips for me.
