Hey y'all~

Just curious if any of y'all had podcast recommendations. Preferably ones that could be found on Spotify or Podcast Addict. If you want to provide a small description about what the podcasts you recommend are, that'd be great. I'm really just looking for any genre of podcast, haha.

Some things to add, it'd be great if it was clean, aka no swears or anything too inappropriate. If you want a general idea of stuff I listen to I'll make a list below of podcasts I have heard before:

That's The Way I Heard It with Mike Rowe

Sawbones: A Marital Tour of Misguided Medicine

Stuff You Should Know

And there's this other one I can't quite think of the name of atm, but I believe it's [smth?]bus (if you happen to know the name of this one with the little information I gave that'd be great lol bc I would like to find it >.>" I've only listened to it on road trips not using my phone so... I think they just talk about random topics depending on the episode)

I don't listen to that many to be honest, which is why I'm looking for a few recommendations to spruce up my free time and give me a lil more variety to what I listen to :)

Apparently stuff you shouldn't know and stuff you should know are good (according to siblings) I don't really listen to podcasts though...

It's a bit tricky when you don't have a specific genre you want and we don't know your age group otherwise someone might choose something inappropriate or under aged/meant for kids :)

I love Sawbones. It's about medical history - specifically all the funny and/or misguided medical things people used to do in the past (and sometimes present) e.g trepanation, blood-letting, mesmerism...

Ty for the recommendation though!

do you like true crime? if so i have a few suggestions, though they can get a bit gruesome/ sometime innpropriate for younger listeners, so you have to be careful if you dont want any of that stuff.

another podcast (its also a tv show) i find very interesting is the food that built america. its basically the backstories on popuar foods we eat now, how they came to be. many are very fascinating, such as the first cheese puff was made out of spare horse feed and powdered army cheese. sometimes they also do food wars (ex. dominos vs. pizza hut)
