So recently, I've been seeing lots of HH members who are homeschooled. Figured I would start a club for the homeschoolers of HH!

Just wondering, what is it like being 100% homeschooled? Do you go outside often/isn't it boring staying at home all the time? Do you work with an online teacher/a teacher who comes to your house/your parent?

Nope, it's not boring at all I go for some extra classes for subjects I'm weaker in (since I still have to learn the same stuff as school going students) but I can learn at my own pace as long as my grades are fine. I'm more of an independent learner (for subjects that I don't have tuition) and I learn subjects by myself so my parents mainly help me with questions that I can't answer. I also can go out more often than people who are not homeschooled as I have more time. Recently I've been going out less because of covid as expected though

Here's my 2 cents.

 

I'm in a situation where it's kind of lonely here. I live in the country, and used to live in the city. I like it out here, don't get me wrong, but it's kinda lonely. So being homeschooled adds to it a bit. I'm glad to be homeschooled, though, for many reasons.

 

But it's really nice. You kind of do what you want when you want as long as it gets done. I work through summer, no problem, as long as it gets done and I don't fall too far behind. I'm enrolled in an online homeschool program, but there aren't any teachers or tutors. Just one tutor per grade (I think), who grades the work you send to them, and they give you back your quarter grades.

 

Kinda boring, I suppose, but I've been homeschooled my whole life, so I'm used to it by now. Plus, all my friends are homeschooled, we go to the same church, etc. So we all get each other. In addition, we're all enrolled in the same program

My mom teaches me and my sister, I went to privet school in kindergarten but have been homeschooled since!

Mine is a little different, now I am in HS we just have subjects written on a white board to do but my mom teaches literature and science and if we have a new concept in math and all that, but it is really fun! Honestly the reason it is great for me is because I have a twin sister so we do our work together a lot.
I go to a CO-OP its just once a week extra curricular activities in addition to our schooling, you can take gym classes, math, science, geography, literature. Some HS classes like math and science are full on classes if the parents don't want to teach those lol. But one of my classes is forensic science and it is awesome!

There lots of different ways to homeschool and I think they all have their pluses and minuses I find the club idea amazing cause now we can all discuss our experiences!

Yep. However if I have a national exam testing some subjects (like this year), I'll have to learn at the same pace or faster as school going people. Also, sometimes my parents plan when I have to finish a certain topic
