Are you able to gather what specifically you're finding hard about it? What unit/chapter are y'all on? And are you able to ask your teacher for help?
When I was in Algebra I wasn't that great at paying attention in some of the class, heh. But I found The Organic Chemistry Tutor on youtube and he has videos on a lot of different maths or specific subjects of math. And it helped me a lot. Just actually do what's in the video if you try and use videos. Like if they tell you to pause and work out a problem, actually do it instead of waiting for them to solve it. It'll help a lot more that way~ If his videos don't work for you, there's a lot of other math teachers/tutors on youtube and other sites, or you can talk to your parents about an actual tutor or someone to help you if needed

Happy to help. PM me if you need, I am quite literally a tutor in this lol xD I won't charge you though :P
It helps if you have specific questions though rather than just a generic "teach me algebra!!" If your, for example, had a homework or test or classwork that you did badly in and don't know why or how to fix it, you can just send me a pic of it and I'll try to help you through it

Ok, for graphing it's easy, just make a table and put some numbers in, then plot them.
eg.
2x + 3y = 7
- Rearrange it so you have x on one side and y on the other, so:
- 2x = 7 - 3y
- make a table of x and y, and for every value of x, just calculate y:
x | y
1 |
2 |
3 |
4 |
... for 1 you would do:
2x = 7 - 3y
(2 x 1) = 7 - 3 y
2 = 7 - 3 y
2 - 7 = 3 y
-5 = - 3 y
y = -3 / -5 = 0.6
So in your table you would have
x | y
1 | 0.6
2 |
... and then repeat for x = 2 etc. Then just plot them on a graph like you would for any other graph. X along the bottom, y up the vertical.
I don't know what you mean by "fractions in algebraic equations", that's a bit vague and could mean almost anything. Be a bit more specific
For the last one, that's easy All you need to do is collect all the numbers on one side and the Xs on the other.
So, to start, I'd get rid of those pesky denominators. So if you multiply each side by 8, then each side by 5, you would end up with this:
(X + 5) x 5 = (X - 1) x 8 (<------ this is called cross-multiplying. Basically you take the bottom two numbers off the fractions and just swap them to the top of the other side)
then expand/simplify:
5X + 25 = 8X - 8
Then collect up the Xsa on one side and the numbers on the other:
25 + 8 = 8X - 5X
33 = 3X
11 = X
I can go through the steps in more detail if you need.
Here's a pen-and-paper working of it which might be easier to follow (well, graphics tablet and MS Whiteboard, but you get the idea xD )
