I kind of feeling ive been using my laptop for to long..

I kind of feeling ive been using my laptop for to long..

Well, set yourself a time limit. Put an alarm on your computer or phone then after an hour go do something else. You don't have to limit to an hour a day but don't let yourself just play for hours at a time with no break. And your break doesn't have to be doing chores or homework (though that's a fine option too), do something fun and fulfilling, like writing in a diary or making a new hamster boredom breaker.

Finding an enjoyable screen-free hobby is great if you want to spend less time using screens. It sort of rewards you for not using one instead of feeling like you having to stop using one. Drawing, reading, bird watching, going for walks, and playing with my pets are some of my favorites. :)

This is a really great way to put it.

 

I admit I've been feeling the same way as OP. It's so addicting to use a device for reading, browsing, whatever. It so easily gets out of hand :) Your way of putting it is particularly encouraging.
