Breathe through your nose, regardless of whether you are wearing a mask. I think people panic and starting breathing through their mouths, and then they end up with dry mouth and sore throats. The nose is a filtration device.

Bring a second mask for the afternoon. They aren't meant for all day wearing.

If it's a cloth mask, wash it. Ironing it will kill any germs that linger after washing and drying (although washing and drying are quite effective on their own). I can't wrap my head around people who wear the same mask for multiple days without washing. Do they not change their underwear?

I feel for you all who have to go to school in this mess. The problem with optional masks is that cloth and surgical masks protect other people. So the decision of other students to not wear a mask puts you at greater risk.

Unfortunately, cloth masks, even the high ends ones let in between 97-100% (rayon/polyester vs cotton) of particles according to multiple different studies when compared to N95s (44%), or even K95s (67%). There are even studies saying that cloth masks are worse than having no masks, because again trapping of the air, moisture build up, etc. Most people either have cloth or the practically paper surgical masks, which are really only meant to block fluids from hitting a surgeon in the face, not airborne particles.

Even a perfectly fitted N95, does not prevent all transmission and not many regular people are wearing those, especially not school children.

It's also very difficult to remember to breath through your nose when the air flow is hampered. Your body naturally starts gasping for air through your mouth.

Thankfully, all the cases of covid are going down. In the US, we had a spike of Omni in Dec/January, now barely are cases. We all getting our natural immunity, wanted or not.

Cotton does not impede breathing or trap air. Cloth masks are not for protecting yourself. They're to prevent you from spreading the disease if you are asymptomatic because they catch the moisture particles from your breath.

N95s do protect the wearer, but the obvious trade-off is that they are difficult to breathe in and therefore not appropriate for students to be wearing all day long. The only way to prevent all transmission is to stop breathing. We have to compromise without running wild.

I’m sorry your going through this KitKat

Make sure to drink lots of water (ignoring the argument here it does make it more comfortable), especially if you can get a bottle with a straw. If you use cloth masks you may be able to put a blue surgical mask under for another layer (most schools provide them). I also found that locally a lot of libraries and shopping malls were giving out free KN95’s. It’s weird seeing some people wear masks and some people not, especially when preciously people there haven’t followed social distancing rules. I hope it goes well and you stay safe :

I am not sure what will happen next. Even, I never thought that I am gonna face this kind of epidemic era. I am become a part of the history. Now, I just only taking precautions and eating healthy food only, I quit eating junk food and I am also thinking about start taking Ayurveda medicines instead of chemical medicines. And if you want to read essay samples for free then you can visit https://www.topessaywriting.org/samples/historyhere. I also use that website.

Nothing will happen next. We only have to live with this virus. As per my knowledge, there is no end to this virus. It's been a long 2 years and this virus is still active and coming up with new variants. I am also taking Ayurvedic medicines instead of chemical medicines and I am making my immune system stronger because one of my friends told me that if our immune system is strong, we are much safer than other people whose immune system is not so strong. My Ayurvedic doctor prescribed herbs and breathing exercises for me to keep me strong and healthy. I also quit smoking after when I heard that this virus affects your breathing system and it damage more who smoke cigarettes.
