So there is this picture I want to use and it is 34 kB. I went to go use it and it says it is to large, maximum 100kB. Am I missing something? Aaaand, I messed up the title.

That is strange... are you 100% sure it says 34 KB and not MB or something?

 

What I usually do for profile pictures is I use a website called Canva (free).

- Create a new "logo"

- Put the image into that

- Download as jpeg (important, as jpeg will be the smallest size)

 

And then I insert that into HH.

JPEG is not necessary but I do recommend it

It might just have been a problem with HH, or your file might not have been compatible?

It worked once I switched it from png to jpeg. But I did not use canva. If you have a windows computer, I can tell you the different way.

hey, i see that you solved the problem already, but just for future reference if you have a file that's too big you can use this app called squoosh to make your file smaller. i just used the app to to upload my new profile pic<<<< 

hope this helps if you ever have trouble with a photo!

also, i find it interesting that your computer says that the max is 100 because my computer says that the maximum is 50 kB.
