Hi!

I’ve got a hamster reserved and waiting for pickup, and now just need to seal off his DIY cage.
I’m using Everflex Aqua Mate aquarium sealant, and just wondered how long I need to leave it for before putting together his cage with bedding etc?
It’s supposedly quick drying, and is tack free within the hour, but I know it’s more to do with fumes. Any guidelines i’ve seen have been in association with fish, so I imagine they are different for hamsters.

Thank you!

This is the sealant:

The back of the bottle should give a good idea, even if it’s for fish. I’ve heard general guidelines are 24 hours minimum, but ideally 2 or 3 days, though yours is quick drying :)
