HAMSTER OF THE MONTH 


June

 

Hamster Of The Month is a contest where you can enter a photo of your hamster, matching the set theme for the month, for a chance to win a HOTM winner's banner.

 

Open for entries: 6th -  24th June
Voting: 24th - 28th June
Winner announced: 1st July

Rules

 

1. Anyone can enter this contest, even if you've won before.
2. You cannot use a winning picture from a previous HOTM.
3. Enter only one photo per month.
4. Photos must be your own, of your own hamster or a hamster you live with. No stealing photos from the Internet or other members.
5. No pity posts (ex. "Oh, my photo will never win... :( ")
6. Keep editing to cropping/resizing/sharpness/etc.
7. All images, posts and comments must abide by forum rules.
8. Rainbow hamsters are allowed provided the picture fits the theme.
9. All props and anything else included in your photo should be safe for your hamster. If you have any concerns about an entry, please PM me.


How to enter

Once you have taken / selected your photo, you will need to host it on an image hosting site such as Imgur or Imgbb. Post your photo in this thread following the instructions below. Include with your entry your hamster's name.

At the time of posting I'm honestly absolutely exhausted, for this reason I can't think of any good themes. BUT I did think of one: CUTENESS :veryhappy: Choose your cutest photo and submit it, I'll be satisfied.

Okay.. Neither of my hamsters are photogenic and all of the pictures I take are either blurry or.. Really creepy to say the least but, here's Wilbur doing bathtub bonding for the first time.

omg.. he is so CUTEEE!! I’m definitely voting for him.

Hi! I hope you don’t mind my interference but may I politely request that you do not say things that shows favoritism to members. :) It can hurt peoples’ feelings as well as discourage people from entering. This isn’t to say I don’t mind the occasional “Aw!” or “Cute!” etc. But saying you’re more likely to vote for someone on a public thread can be discouraging and hurtful. :)

I hope I’m not rude or have hurt your feelings, I know you had good intentions. :hug:
