How to gut load mealworms and crickets?

This is important because not only I want for my hamster but also for my future hegdehog that i will have in around 6 months or more and Hegdehogs are mainly insectivorous (both are omnivores,just Hegdehogs are more adapted to insectivory and hamsters are more adapted to granivory) so,how I gut load and with what foods I should gut load my mealworms and crickets?

Perhaps there's a hedgehog forum that could give you more answers on this. Most hamster owners don't raise their own insects because hamsters don't eat as many
