Dear people,
Friends that I am honored to have met,
With the ending of the Forum, and the departure of dear friends like Dusty, this really feels like the end of an era. I've been on here one year and over the summer to enjoy all of your wonderful company, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I’m so glad and so blessed to have met you, and now the time is coming. The time to leave this place, but not its people.
What makes this place so amazing is not the platform. It’s you. It’s each and every person here that makes this place a joy. If the forum was more open to all comers, there would be floods of people that one would find on twitter or Facebook, the people who just want to tear things down.
You are not those people.
You love.
You care.
You listen.
Through all my hamster troubles and mental troubles, you’ve listened and cared. I feel justified in saying that I’ve never had friends like that before. And there is no way that I’m just going to abandon friends like that. In the words of a wonderful music artist:
“This is not a goodbye, now
I’m not going away
No, I don’t have the answers,
But I do have the faith”

I encourage you, I urge you, to the point of begging, reach out. Even a message as small as a “hello” means that you want to keep in contact, and that you want to stay friends. It also means I have your email address and can reply, so y’all better expect a message back!

I love you all, and I won’t miss you, because I want to take you all with me. I’m not leaving my friends, just a place where we can meet. We will meet again, I hope, and we will not fear death, to quote again:
