Willow is my 1 and half year old female Syrian. She has always had proper care and very rarely has she ever been stressed. Lately, I’ve noticed that she has been waking up a lot later, I mean she used to wake up at 8:30 and now sometimes I wait until midnight and she’s still not up. Usually you can hear Willow burrowing during the day but I haven’t been hearing that. I’ve also noticed her food and water aren’t mostly gone by the next morning like they normally are. Theres been some changes recently so maybe these contributed towards her current behaviour?
- I left for two weeks, she was fed every other day and was given fresh water daily but didn’t get human interaction.
- She was moved from a quiet room to the noisier living room a couple months ago. That was the start of her waking up later (9 rather than 8:30) but now it’s pretty extreme.
I am just kinda concerned as she’s getting up there in age, and we didn’t know her exact age when we got her. I assumed 2 months because she was super tiny. Just note that Willow has gone through phases of doing these things before but only for a few days to a week and never to this extent. If anybody has an answer it would be much appreciated!! Sorry for any spelling errors! :)

It's certainly possible that moving from to a louder environment is causing her to sleep later.

Have you weighed her lately? Had any unusual smells (besides the usual in heat smell)? Done a health check for lumps or anything weird? Is she dehydrated?

Btw, Finn, this site is closing soon, if you have other questions, you can go here and ask.
