It is 430 sq inches of floorspace (with bedding like 453) if I connect it,it would be fine?

If you can, I'd invest a bit more on a bigger cage. Syrians are really demanding, especially females, so they may try to escape frequently in a small cage which can be both stressful for the hamster and owner. I'd say 600 square inches of floor space is a safer bet, if you have a male. If you haven't got the hamster yet, I'd recommend opting for a dwarf since they are usually happier with their space and do not have as much upper body strength as Syrians.

It might work but you would have to put a lot of enrichment for the hammy to be content :) I've seen pictures of people connecting two bins together, so that might work! Also Christmas tree bins work great if you can find them!

it is a male! I don’t like females much because they smell and they have like “periods” (not really that, but I forgot the name) also they need more space than males
