It is 430 sq inches of floorspace (with bedding like 453) if I connect it,it would be fine?
If you can, I'd invest a bit more on a bigger cage. Syrians are really demanding, especially females, so they may try to escape frequently in a small cage which can be both stressful for the hamster and owner. I'd say 600 square inches of floor space is a safer bet, if you have a male. If you haven't got the hamster yet, I'd recommend opting for a dwarf since they are usually happier with their space and do not have as much upper body strength as Syrians.

It might work but you would have to put a lot of enrichment for the hammy to be content I've seen pictures of people connecting two bins together, so that might work! Also Christmas tree bins work great if you can find them!

it is a male! I don’t like females much because they smell and they have like “periods” (not really that, but I forgot the name) also they need more space than malesIf you can, I'd invest a bit more on a bigger cage.
