Always get enough sleep if you have light colored skin (I have porcelain colored skin and if I do not get enough sleep I get dark circles under my eyes, and it really does look awful). Use ceramic hair straightners/curlers because they do not damage your hair like metal ones. Rinse your hair in cool water after you use conditioner it makes it shiny, do not brush wet hair use a wide toothed comb, and always brush hair from the bottom up (prevents split ends). Remove mascara before you go to bed, it makes dark circles look much worse, if you wake up with dark circles rub a little cream under your eyes (you do not have pores in the area where you get under eye circles) it will help restore pigment. Don't touch your face alot during the day, it contributes to breakouts. Do not scrub your face roughly it stimulates oil glands.

asrggggghhhhhhh ive got flaky hair yuk ooooooooooooohhhh

I had dandruff (dry flaky scalp) at one point, it is fairly easy to treat, you can buy zinc shampoos at superstores, some grocery stores, and beauty shops to treat dandruff.

SKIN- For your face- It is a proven dermatology fact that if you start using Oil of Olay in your early teenage years, you won't have as many wrinkles when you get older. If you have zits, Stridex Pads work wonders! But if you need something stronger ProActiv works great too (if you are not allergic)For body- Body Lotions with Shea Butter are supposed to be great.

HAIR- As you get older, your hair gets weak and brittle. Garnier Fructis make your hair really strong and shiny. It is recommended that for people who want really nice hair, to use a shampoo and conditioner made ecspecially for their hair color (usually pricy) Every once in a while, it is good to not wash your hair for about 3 days so it gets oily and brush the oils through your hair very good.

TEETH- To keep your teeth in good shape- Brush very good with a "whitening" tooth paste with "tarter Protection". You MUST floss every night and rinse with listerine. Going to the dentist every 6 months is also recommended. If you want white teeth, Crest or Rembrandt Whitening strips are said to be the best (by dentists) For those of you who like milk (white) Drink it! It is nothing but good for your teeth and bones.

BODY- Drink lots and lots of water. Soda is addicting and very good tasting, but one of the worst drinks. A simple yoga or Pilates workout everyday keep you in shape (I do a daily pilates video) For all of the kids (like me) you don't exactly have to do yoga or pilates, as long as you are envolvedwith a sport.

Doctors can't spread the message alone- Get your cholesterol checked! I have bad genetics when it comes to that and my family eats SO healthy (including me, very healthy eater) and I had very very high cholesterol. It keeps you healthy and it prevents you from getting heart attacks. ( I know it isnt exactly a beauty tip, but it is a good health tip :cookie: :birthday: :icecream: :lollipop: )

Use at least SPF 15 daily, keep an skin-care routine. Clean your face, use a toner, and always moisturize your skin no matter what skin-type you have. I got Proactiv in the mail 4 days ago, hopefullly it'll work for me. The free refining mask sample that came with it (Also contains Sulfur) is awesome, it made my face feel so clean and fresh.
I got the 3-system.
So anyways for your hair, get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks.
Use the VO5 Oil treatment like every 2 weeks, it does make your hair more manageable and soft.

Skin: When shaving use a twin or triple blade razor, singles don't work, and don't give a close shave. I use Clearasil as a daily face wash to keep my face healthy and zit free. I also use lotion in the winter, because my skin cracks. Also, EAT HEALTHY! And drink LOTS of water- at least eight glasses a day. I know it seems like a lot, but it seriously helps clear your skin, and is just great for your overall health.

Hair: Shampoo and Condition your hair every OTHER day, and sometimes take breaks, like, don't wash your hair for two or three days, and then brush the oil through. It's great for your hair! Eat lots of veggies and healthy stuff, and your hair will GLOW! Use a shampoo thats good, like Garnier Fructius, Loreal bounce shampoo, or another name brand, good shampoo. Use olive oil, lemon juice ect rinses once a week. I use lemon juice, and it makes my hair blonder.

There are lots more tips I have, but that's all I have time for. Bye!

A new beauty secret I have discovered for acne and especially back acne is tea tree oil. just a little bit of tea tree oil directly on the pimple is amazing! the first night i used it i put it on my back and i was so surprised by the results! i highly suggest it!
but you must remember that what works for one person might not work for another person. you have to find what works best for you and stick with it!

o ya. and witch hazel is a good astringent! its only two dollars at the grocery store for a big container! you can find it where the rubbing alcohol is stocked.
