This is great! I added it to my hamster binder.

Although, you said this:

Once the cage is cleaned, return mum to the fresh cage and let her explore. You can take this opportunity to handle the babies individually and try to sex them. See below for pictures of male vs. female baby Syrians.

I was just wondering why there aren't actually any pictures of the babies?

Thanks.

I probably didn't get a chance to add it. Oops. I will do my best!

You can put it back once the baby's are exploring and about 3-4 weeks old (I think)

So I just got this female dwarf hamster from petsmart Wensday feb 16 2022, and I noticed she's large... She has a round belly like a pear shape, and two nipples showing. She drinks A LOT of water, she drinks at least 10 times an hour I have refill her 8 oz water bottle everyday bc she drinks almost all of it.. She also made a nest and gathers more things for it everyday, she even hoards all her food in it, and eats a LOT. I started giving her boiled egg and cucumber for extra nutrients and protein if she is pregnant, and I did remove her wheel so if she had any it wouldn't harm the babies. Oh and she was super sweet when we first got her but now that she has a nest she is super aggressive when I have my hand in the tank (40 gal) to refill water and put more food down.. I would put pictures of her belly but It won't let me upload any

You need to upload the photos to a photo site and then post a link.
