This contest is for LIVE fish, that should be quite obvious. This entry is disqualified, please stop trolling this contest, it's very obvious what you're trying to do.

You never said anything about the fish being alive or dead or not even real.

I think AAAAAAAAaaaaAaAaaa and Franklin should be allowed to enter. She still took a picture and maybe she doesn't have a real fish to enter. I've seen joke entries before and heck I've even gave descriptions of fish because people couldn't enter a picture lol

Absolutely not, this is a contest not a joke. This wouldn't be allowed for a HOTM contest so why do you guys think it's acceptable here? Go create a stuffed animal contest if you wish, please stop spamming this thread with nonsense or I'll have to report all of you to a mod.

I never said this was a joke. I seriously wanted to enter Franklin because I am not allowed to have fish of my own because we can not afford one. There are no rules against entering a stuffed animal.I also never was spamming

- No cheating! This shouldn't have to be said, but it's worth covering anyway. Both the picture and the hamster in it must belong to you. That is, don't take pictures off the internet and claim them as your own.
- Don't make fake accounts to vote multiple times. Don't use the forum, PM function, or status bar to promote any entry. Don't post "pity posts" ("Everyone else's pictures are so great! Mine will never win.") to try to sway people into voting for you.
- You are only allowed to enter one picture per month. Please only have one picture in your submission post (aka, please do not ask within this thread for opinions on which image to enter.)
- If you win, then you are to wait at least three months before entering again, to be fair to everyone. A winning photo cannot be re-entered at any time. You can post the same picture from a previous contest (provided it hasn’t won) for up to 3 months.
- Editing should be kept to simple edits such as cropping, sharpness, and resizing. No color changes, background changes, stickers, or other embellishments are allowed.
- Any pictures that depict hamsters in unsafe situations will be immediately disqualified.
- Please do not quote submission pictures if you are looking to compliment them. Quote the post but delete the pictures! This makes the entries easier to see and keeps the thread neat.

I'm sorry to just barge in, but I believe that the rules never said anything about the hamster (or any other animal) having to be real. Even for HOTM, stuffed animal entries have never been not allowed, since you copied the rules directly from HOTM. It's just that to my knowledge, this hasn't happened before. Since you are the contest organizer, you can just create a new rule that says "Any animal entered must be a real one." However, you cannot say that AAAAAAAAaaaaAaAaa is trolling or that it is nonsense because the rules never said otherwise. No need to get into an argument. It's your contest. If you want the contest to be for live fish, just say so in the rules. I know that most people would assume that this is for live fish, but if you look closely, it hasn't been said anywhere that you can't enter fake/stuffed animal fish. I hope this was not rude in any way. I just want to point out that this was never explicitly said in the rules. Sure, it is implied, but it is not actually mentioned in the rules. Thank you.

I totally agree with SunHam here. It wasn't ever stated in the rules, so AAAAAAAAaaaaAaAaa shouldn't be accused of trolling. Maybe it could be allowed for this month only, and then next month you can edit the rules?

This is George my male molly! He moves around so fast that it's really hard to take any good picture so sorry about the lack of good photo quality.
Here's an alright picture of George next to clover. Just ignore Clover and look at George (he is the orange one)
SpoilerHalf my tank is packed with artificial stuff for all the fry my livebearing fish have and the other half is really natural with 4 or 5 live plants. The natural side look prettier in my opinion but George happened to be on the border of the artificial side of the tank.
