Dear HH Members,

We have already abolished the archaic notion of having a forum recommended minimum cage size. Hence, I really hope that our dear members will embrace the fact that some hamsters will live in so-called "small" cages most of their lives. Please do your best to educate that perhaps these hamsters will benefit from larger homes but if the owner is unable to do so for whatever reason, kindly do not let them give them a guilt trip.

Personally, I have been following Instagrams and Twitters of hamsters from Asian countries such as Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan and have witnessed daily videos of these hamsters being adored and cared for in the most extreme manners possible. Although some of these hamsters live in relatively small cages or tanks, they are absolutely tame and you can tell that they lead very happy lives from the ways they interact with their owners. And oh, most robos I see live in pairs or threes and they play with each other every single day on videos. I had 2 robos in the past, they were sisters and lived with each other all their lives and never fought. When one passed away in a hideout, the other one slept right outside as if to remain close and protect the body. :crybuckets: I'm not saying all robos should live in pairs or more, but there are certainly many happy cases out there.

Please open up to the world of hamsters from the rest of the world. :)

dusty.

P.S. Having said that, the next member who bashes other members over their cage sizes will be banned immediately. :cop:
