Are you sure you're not a spammer? Each of your posts links to a different website.

My cat likes to watch my ham. It's quite annoying. Since I moved him to a 40 gal breeder, she will try to sit on the lid when he is awake. The ham doesn't seem to mind, but I don't like it. She is starting to learn not to go on the lid. Instead she will go to her cat tree which is about six feet away and try to watch him from there.

Yep it's a spammer, just report, ignore and move on; don't reply or quote them to give them the views.

May I ask why you quoted them in the first place if you knew they were a spammer? :)

I would think that was obvious? I replied to a post, then subsequently had spamming PMs from this account, and also when another person questioned that member I did some research into this account's recent topics.

My initial reaction was to respond to what I thought was a legitimate account. Having learned that it's not, I just posted a message saying not to engage with it further. I'm not sure why that is a confusing concept.

It is possible, but I would be careful about your place. I heard many stories about when people trained their cats to treat hamsters and parrots well, and their pets did. However, it depends on a few factors. First of all, the breed of cat. Each cat is a hunter who wants to play and kill smaller animals. However, some breeds are less aggressive and even more lazy in hunting. And, of course, itโ€™s better for your hamster if he โ€˜gets acquainted with the kitty rather than the adult cat. Then they have more chances to get along well. Here are more facts about cats, including when a cat is too affectionate the reasons behind it and what to do.

Im not sure about if anyone else answered the same thing, I didn't read every answer ๐Ÿ˜Š
I would not recommend having them in the same room, especially at night, when hamsters are awake. Even though the cat cannot get in the cage and kill the hamster, it will be very stressful to the hamster to have a cat staring at him all night. A stressed hamster is not a social hamster, and is not a happy hamster ๐Ÿ˜Š
I completely understand if that's not possible for you, but even the smell and sounds of a animal the hamster knows is a danger for it, but it can't run away because its in a cage, I don't think is great for him.
Good luck !
