Does anyone have a book with like a really interesting sad plot line? The only series thus far that I’ve read through and haven’t gotten bored was Mr. Terupt. It wasn’t super sad, more heartwarming, but I’ve finished it and I just wanna read something really depressing, idk why lmao.

I love Mr. Terupt! These aren't that sad, but I'd check out Wonder and Fish in a Tree!

I’ll probably try out of my mind, if not the 100 books. By the way, has anyone actually read the 100 book series?

Golden Filly was pretty darn sad. I liked the plot, it’s one of my favorite series!

Hmm, I don't really know many sad books but a good, not very chipper book is called "When"  I really recommend it! It is suspenful mystery that does have sad points, and it is kind of dark. It really hooks you and makes you want to read more, while definitely experiencing a wide range of emotions!

I know it may not be super sad but the Wings of Fire series is SUCH A GOOD SERIES! There is a tramatic death in the beginning of the series and it can be a little descriptive but its so good! Its about dragons if ur into that

I know I’m late, but Flowers for Algernon. It does have some inappropriate parts in it, so get permission from your parents if you’re younger before reading it. It’s just so sad.

Are you talking about Out of my Mind by Sharon M. Draper? I love that book! It's extremely good.

I would also take a read at, "Blended," when you finish. It's by the same author.
