Really? All my recipes have bitter-sweet/semi-sweet chocolate chips and sometimes I leave them out just fine
Maybe it varies by the recipe?
I'm not saying it won't be fine, it just depends.
Some people will leave em out and like em
Some people won't
Which is why I prefer to find a specific chip-less recipe.
It depends on what chips you use and the specific recipe and your taste. So I just think doing specific is safer for what you might like
(I keep wording things weird oops)
Edit: I mean I've done it before where I leave out the chips for half the batter and leave it in for the other half and I like it *shrugs*
