I want to grow sprays for Caramel and for the joy of it! How exactly do I grow sprays? If you know please share how to grow a specific spray, I can grow any. Millet, Oat, Wheat, Flax, etc.

Hello! If you have the seeds, you can just plant them, then water them. If you would like to give the whole pot to your ham (including soil) you can use eco-earth.

Ok, so you should do your own research because each seed has a different way to grow.

 

Millet: 

 

Its super simple, start growing it in a pot until its about 5 inches tall i think. Then your going to transplat it either outside, a flower/plant bed, a taller wider pot, or whatever. After it gets to a certain height you should take it outside to plant. You can also start it outside to but its easy for rain to waterlog seeds. It takes 90 days to grow I think, and water it whenever you think you should (again, do some research) Once its been 90 days or it looks like proper millet, cut the heads off and dry it inside. 

 

Flax: 

 

Start off by taking a spoon or two of flax seeds and put them in a shallow container about 1-2 inches deep. Moisten the soil, a lot. Cover it and leave it in a cupboard or pantry or a closet for 5 days. Take it out and let it have full sun for a few days or until it is about 4-6 inches tall. Then your going to either move it to a garden, or a 9 inch deep pot, yes it HAS to be a 9 inch pot. It going to grow, I dont know how long until its full grown, but look it up. Once it is all grown and dried a bit, cut the seed heads off (they are little round balls) and dry them in the window hanging.

 

Sorghum:

 

This is really easy, start off in a pot and once it grows around 4-8 inches, put it in the garden and give it water when you think you need to. It will grow very tall, its just like corn, it looks like corn, grows like corn, but instead of corn its sorghum sprouts. Once its full grown cut the head off and then dry it.

 

I do not really know about the rest because I havent grown it before. I do not grow wheat or oat because I have had bad experiences with it and I would rather just buy it. Chia is similar to flax, but I grow it in a tall pot because it grown like lavender looking stalks, it makes little purple blossoms so I put it next to my door in a large tall white steel pot.
