Thank you guys! I really didn’t expect to get so many replies. And you’re all so sweet!

As for the legs, what I messed up was the placement. If a cat was walking with their left front leg in front of their right front leg (like in my drawing) their left back leg would be in front of their right back leg, but I did the opposite for the back legs. That’s a really confusing explanation haha, but I’m sure you’ll get what I mean if you compare a picture or two to my drawing.

I’ve seen cats walk like that, it depends on the timing. For example, this picture:

Here’s a wolf I just finished. The back legs gave me a lot of grief, but I think I finally got them looking how I want them. This particular drawing is actually a redraw of one I did a few years ago that I came across today. I thought it would be cool to draw it again so I could see how I’ve improved. I might upload the original one later if I can. I would post it now with my new one, but the picture is on another device and I’m still trying to get it to cooperate haha. I see some things about it that just look a bit off/I’m not the happiest with, but it’s still much better than the other one.

Practice! Really, I should show you guys sometime just how much I’ve improved in just a few years. I never really was interested in drawing people/objects, so I focused on drawing animals.

i love drawing animals but the only ones im decent at are hamsters and rabbits and occasionally dogs (really only boxers & pitbulls)...

I normally don’t draw people (since I don’t really think my people are as good as my animals, and they take longer), but my friend and I are writing a story and I really wanted to draw one of the characters. This is Bread, a 43 1/3 year old (though she doesn’t really look like it haha), who speaks in a southern accent and owns a bread store.

No, I don’t. :( I generally don’t draw people, Bread was an exception since my friend wanted me to.
