Hey y'alllllllllll

Soooo I was just wondering who all has had the vaccine for covid-19? Personally, I just got my first dose today at 3pm (it's 10:23pm rn). Those who have had the second shot, what symptoms did you have? I got Pfizer, and I feel fine, my arm doesn't even hurt. I know only Pfizer is approved for younger ppl, however, I know some ppl on HH are 16+, so maybe you got Moderna, or J&J? I just want to know what to maybe be prepared for when my second dose comes round. I will be in the car the whole next day so... I'll be sick in the car  but hopefully I won't have a reaction :)

Anyways yeah! :D

I just got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday. I woke up this morning with a sore arm, but it’s subsided quite a bit throughout the day and I feel perfectly fine otherwise. I would expect your arm to be a little sore later tonight or tomorrow. It means you're having a good immune response and is very common. :)

I haven't had it as I'm not eligible yet (in the UK it's being offered to people in batches starting from the older age groups + the vulnerable + medical staff and working downwards). However both my parents have had both doses and they were totally fine after the first and a bit tired/fluey after the second. Nothing drastic, they didn't have to go to bed or anything, and it was over after a day. My mum had Pfizer and my dad probably had Pfizer but it could have been AstraZeneca.

Sigh. You guys DO know that the vaccine has a higher death rate then the virus itself, right?

I haven't gotten mine yet but will be scheduled too soon, but my older sister and parents have gotten theirs. My older sis and ma got theirs earlier since higher risk, and the day after the second dose my sister felt a bit sick but my mom only had a slightly sore arm. And when my dad got it he had a slightly sore arm as well the next day. I'm not sure exactly which ones they got, but I'm going to assume in general you're going to have a sore arm where you got a shot just like most other shots haha

Maybe I’m just really obtuse, but I genuinely can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not. I apologize in advance if you are just joking.

Could you cite some sources on that? The CDC states that there’s a death rate of 0.0017% after receiving the vaccine, which I can guarantee is significantly less than the percentage of deaths from covid. Also keep in mind that just because someone died after getting vaccinated doesn’t mean that they died from the vaccine. :)

Dozens of stories on Facebook. Too many.

Recently, a 16 year old in WI.

A professional martial artists foot blew up a day or so after getting the vaccine.

I’ll get names/links tomorrow. I don’t have Facebook so I have to have someone send them to me.

There are news links as well, mostly deleted shortly after because...well, the government doesn’t want people to know.

I didn't get one as I'm too young to, but both of my parents got both of their vaccines because my mom is a teacher and my dad is a truck driver. Both my mom and dad didn't get a reaction on their first dose, but both of my parents had fever on their second. Their fever started with their feet feeling cold and it turned really bad. I think their first dose was the Johnson Johnson and I'm not sure about their second one.

What is the government’s motivation for giving out a deadly vaccine? Killing so many people in their country will significantly lower the population, GDP, and overall negatively effect the economy. Why would they go through such lengths just to economically hurt themselves? Also, are we just referring to the US’s government, or have all countries that are vaccinating their citizens reached an agreement and are okay with damaging their economy?

My age group just got approved. I’m sooo excited. I don’t know when I’ll be able to get it here in the UAE, but soon hopefully.

I’ll definitely be getting Pfizer.

My parents both had a very mild reaction to Pfizer.

Oof we have an anti-vaxxer here.. lol

Here's copy-and-pasted evidence supporting my opinion on this being fake.

Claim: "15-year-old boy passes away from heart attack two days after Pfizer COVID-19 experimental jab."
Claimed by: Bloggers

Claim: Death rate among COVID-19 vaccinated people is significantly higher compared to unvaccinated population
Claimed by: social media users

These facts have been claimed by bloggers and social media, such as Facebook.

And here's why it's less likely to die from the vaccine than from covid, using world data and maths!

There have been 4.45 million people had cases of coronavirus in the uk, 128k of them died. This makes the percentage of death likeliness 0.02876%.

45,908,796 people in the uk have got their vaccine. And I didn't find any stories of anyone dead from the vaccine from the uk, but if you find any please share! Guess what percentage of death likeliness from the vaccine in the uk is... 0%.

And here it is from the US.

32.9 million people had cases of coronavirus in the us, 585k died. This makes the percentage of death likeliness 1.17781%.

273,611,539 people have got the vaccine in the us. Apparently in the us 3,362 people died from the covid vaccine, though many believe this is false, I'll use it anyway. That makes the percentage of death likeliness from the vaccine 0.0012%.

So there you have it.

Here in the UK it's done by age group, I just got my text yesterday from the NHS to invite me for mine. As I'm under 40 I think I'm getting Pfizer/Moderna instead of the AstraZeneca, but I won't know until I get there. I'm booked in for next Tuesday. A few of my friends have had it already (husband included) and have had varying reactions from just a sore arm to full-on headaches, chills, aches and nausea/vomiting lasting from a 1 day to a week. Still, I'll take that over Covid.

And to any Covid-deniers or anti-vaxxers: I *WILL* fight you on this.

One thing to remember guys, it's not just about the death toll. I have had 2 friends die from Covid (one older and with some health issues, the other young and apparently healthy), but aside from that, the long-covid that seems more prevalent in younger people can ruin your life. Friend similar age to me, very fit and healthy (extreme sports, marathon runner, decathalons, etc), got covid last June and it wasn't that bad, wasn't hospitalised or anything... STILL cannot climb stairs without gasping for breath and having pain in his lungs. The doctors think that the scarring caused internally will mean he will never be able to run or cycle or climb or dive again (all of his hobbies). We have kids in school who got it with very mild symptoms, but then MONTHS later they are still "not okay", unable to take part in sport, missing a lot of school due to just literally being too tired/out of breath to come in.

And anyone saying that the vaccine is somehow designed to kill people BeCaUsE ThE GoVeRnMeNt!!1!! - just, no. Seriously, world governments can't even agree on the most minor issues, or trade talks, peace deals, borders, climate, weapons................... and yet, amazingly, every government in the world managed to come together to collaborate on a hoax: that millions of people are dying to a new virus, and THEN on top of that, manufacture vaccines which they plan to use to kill their own citizens. Umhm. You do realise how ridiculous that sounds, yes?
