I am so upset
I was trying to talk to my mom about this and she said "I'm sorry but much as you want to have one, you don't." I NEVER said I wanted to have a heart problem or even though that! I would NEVER want something like that! And, how would she know if I did. This is why I hate my life. I had a feeling it would end up like this. Also, my pulse felt kind of uneven or smth

I'm sorry she said that. That must have hurt. Tell your therapist how much it's worrying you. Parents are less likely to brush off a concern when it comes from someone outside the family. You need to get a blood test to check for anaemia at least. It's very common in adolescent girls.

i decided to make a list of my symptoms lol

-dizziness

-lightheadedness

-high heart rate

-chest pain

-confusion(one day after a very high heart rate and prob over heating i could barley form sentences and my mind was jumbled)

-feeling weak/faint

Are you sure this is related to heart rate?

The heart rate you mentioned above sounds fine to me. ( Or did I read something wrong? ). The smaller you are, the higher your heart rate is going to be. ( Someone said that above, I think ).

Could you be on your period?

Nevertheless, if you're concerned I'd see if there's someone you can talk to.

Just wanted to reply with a few things. Not coming at you Alis, just putting some information out there.

You can't be sure but these aren't normal symptoms so you should still get it checked out.

70-100 is a normal resting rate for 6y/o - 15/yo. It did seem on the higher side but not totally out of the ordinary. If you are concerned, it's still a good idea to get it checked out, because you know your body, and gut feelings are right many-a-time.

Being on your period is no excuse for these symptoms. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms solely while on your period, please see an OBGYN as it's not ok.

I was just pointing out a possibility- some of the symptoms do seem like period symptoms, though now I've gotten confirmation that she isn't.

I'm friends with people who have had quite serious period symptoms, not trying to get all medical-y here because I don't know very much in that field, but I have seen people with some of those symptoms while on their period, ( Lightheadedness, dizziness, tight chest etc ) warm themselves up, rest, and once their period is over, done.

Though, I do admit that having trouble forming sentences and such doesn't sound very normal.

And repeating what I said above, I do think it's a good idea to get checked up just in case.
