No post since February... oof sorry all. I'm here to announce that Iris is going to be euthanized this coming week. It wasn't an easy choice to make at all and I'm still trying to get over this difficult bridge. The vet is going to email me everything in regards to her coming appointment and what I can expect. I plan to bury her where my horse is at since it's such a wide open space under the sky where plenty of beautiful flowers grow every spring.

Iris has early signs of liver disease and while she made progress prior to her first vet visit, the 2nd one really did her in and she's started to deteriorate as the days go by. I've had to cut back on giving her a feed supplement from twice to day to just once a day as shes been refusing to take it now and then. Should the vet giving me any thing the memorialize Iris I plan to keep it tucked away until I feel as though I've fully grieved for her.

Oh no! Sorry for your loss, I hope Iris has a successful trip over the rainbow Bridge.
