So in the near future I will be getting a dwarf, my brother and I are about to go get the stuff to make a bin cage!

Here are some photos of some stuff I got this morning off of Amazon for the cage!

First of we have a small hay hide!

Next we have a bunch of toys! (Apple sticks, wicker balls, food themed chews ect)

Then the wheel, large bendy bridge and multi chamber hide!
(ignore the background mess)

Last but not least a small melon hide and the kiwi bowl!
The bowl I will probably use for water, it is very shallow.

Thats so exciting! My past ham Smudge had that hamburger hide, she LOVEDDD it. Like, she took it the second i gave it to her and slept with it near her at all times. Then i made the mistake of putting peanut butter on it and then scraping it off like Victoria Raechel suggested in one video, and she disowned it : lol

Do you know what hamster you are getting yet?

There is a dwarf I have started the adoption process for, not sure if I will get him but there is really good chance!

I finished the bin!!!
Its around 800 ish(?) Square inch?
It was at home depot,
The food and water is empty along with the sand and I will add more bedding in the left half later, its around 4-5 inch right now and I want to do at least 6inch and get some sprays.

All we have to do is the lid!

Looks great! Just an FYI, vertical bendy bridge dividers are dangerous as hamsters can easily get their toes caught and injured :) You can use somehting like cardboard instead.

Let me know how the niteangel cloud wheel is, I've been interested in it for a while!

I will, about the wheel

I am planning to get some moss for the bridge tomorrow while I am out thanks for reminding me! New question now, what kind of moss? Does the fake moss at the dollar store work or do I need higher quality or just plain ol live moss?

Moss still doesn't make the vertical bendy bridge straight unfortunately :)

Spaghnum moss works! So does pillow moss.

I think this one is safe https://www.amazon.com/Gal%C3%A1pagos-05234-Pillow-Clumps-Natural/dp/B00KZDT47M/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=hamster+moss&qid=1632147932&sr=8-2

this is such a great start! with the 200qt bins (that are actually around 600sq inches when measured at the bottom) you can definitely add a ton more bedding, even if its just on one side of the cage. I would crowd the cage more but of course more things can be added as more time goes on. you can add a few temporary things to crowd it more like cardboard hides, toilet rolls or any other DIYs. I would even try a larger sand bath since dwarves especially will use it a ton! you of course have all the necessities which is great!

Thanks!
Yeah I realized later it was 600sq and I am slowly buying more accessories, though today I had ordered a strawberry hide and it came absolutely broken, we checked our security camera and the Amazon guy set it down so carefully I think he suspected it was broken but he didn't do anything wrong so I guess it got damaged before he got to it :/

Actually, we ordered a security cam from Amazon and received it broken too. I have no idea what they do to our parcels while delivering them. It happened while we were moving to a new house. That's why we were looking for security cameras. Luckily I have a friend at Vivint who has installed their Vivint security cameras at my house. So now I think I won't order anything on Amazon except books. You know, I think we're not the only ones to receive damaged things. Btw, what should I do if I receive anything damaged from Amazon? Should I contact their support?
