Hi ;)

Now listen,

I know this isn't a hair forum...

But I saw the forum thingy...

And I know all of you guys are pretty smartttt

So yeah

plz help

Ok so, maybe a month 1/2 - 2 months ago I got curtain bangs.

Here are what curtain bangs are supposed to look like, if you don't know: https://www.google.com/search?q=curtain+bangs&rlz=1C1GCEB_enUS968US968&oq=cu&aqs=chrome.0.69i59l3j69i57j69i59l2j69i60l2.578j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&surl=1

Here are what mine look like: https://imgur.com/a/Dm8BHDt

Not exactly the same...

I mean I don't think they look bad.

Just not like curtain bangs.

Really, not like curtain bangs..

These were cut by someone at a hair place!

Not home-cut!

How do I make them look like curtain bangs???

The first week I had them, looked perfect.

Now they just look kinda stringy :(

Has anyone had this issue before?

I try to straighten them every day, bc they look awful in the morning!
And I'm just gonna end up ruining my hair.

Please help

Well, I'm not exactly sure how to make them like curtain bangs but I will say that when you go to the hair cutting place, they use sprays and hair dryers and curling iron to make your hair look like the pictures. You could practice and learn to do it the way a hair stylist does it but it hard on your hair to do this everyday. It could cause damage to your hair, especially if you aren't sure how to do it. I would say to try it on the weekends so it doesn't matter about school and such and try practicing shaping your hair and finding the products that work for your hair type. It takes a while and girls spend years figuring out what styles look best for them. Don't be discourage that you don't look like the pictures of people who have professional hair stylists every day.

You can always ask your hair stylist for tips on how to maintain the style and then practice.

PS your hair looks very nice =)

With curtain bangs or layered hair, it's important to style it nicely otherwise it will just turn out looking like a mess haha.

I have curtain bangs and I'm lucky that my hair is naturally wavy so not much styling is needed.

If you don't want to curl it every morning to style it, something that works is after washing your hair, tuck the curtain bangs behind your ears so they can naturally curl like that. Otherwise, you might need to curl it every morning to get what you want. :)

They also require a lot of maintentince- if you want them to be nice looking and perfect length for that ideally you're probably going to need to trim them once a month or so.

Hope this helped!

I don't have a curler, so I think the tuck the bangs will have to do...

I probably shouldn't have gotten curtain bangs....

I had no clue they were so much maintenance.

Do you think this is why they don't look to "curtain bang-y"?

I haven't been styling them right and I haven't been taking care of them..?

My hair is wavy, but I straighten it.

Every morning it looks awful - the bangs are like so messy.

Idk what to call it.

I’m no expert, on anything

But, I have very lazy curtain bangs (like, no styling lol)

Could this be what your hair stylist was going for?

Go up to the root of your bang and scrunch it (like on inch up)

Do they look like curtain bangs nowV

If your hair is just not behaving at all, you may need to change your shampoo or conditioner. Styling is required to get that celebrity look, but finding the basic hair care products that make your hair happy will help.
