Just gonna do one post that I can add to/edit later to avoid spamming up the thread.

 

Tonight I got Basil one of those Whimzee dog chew toys, and she LOVED IT. Tottered around her entire cage holding it in her mouth, and (maybe I'm projecting) seemed very frustrated when she couldn't manage to maneuver it down into her burrow... it reminds me of a one-year-old dragging around a teddy bear

Finally got one of Basil using her coconut - I was on the fence about taking it out because she hardly used it and then... 

 

Basil loves her saucer - she used to have a wobbly plastic one but I didn't like how she was forced to run on it. Got a metal one from the exotic pet supply store, and it's been great!

ALSO! Exciting news - finally pulled the trigger on hamster #2!! She's a very young Chinese hamster, and she's FANTASTIC. I snapped some pictures yesterday when I brought her home and she was exploring, and now I'm leaving her to settle in for a while.  More to come for sure, but...

And my highest-res photo of my newest fur-baby... she prefers the dirt and hay part of her cage over the wood/paper side, but so far the sand is her absolute favorite.
