Hi! I adopted a dwarf about a month ago and I'm not sure on what species she is. They said that she was a Russian dwarf but I don't know if they mean campbells dwarf or winter white. I'll upload some images of her (they're a little blurry cuz she doesn't stop moving) I'm also not sure on the colouring. If anyone can help that would be great 😁

It looks like she has an opal coloring.

I agree she does look like an opal colouring. Also your hamster is absolutely adorable

If you got her from a rescue/petstore/rehoming site, she is a hybrid of russian campbells dwarf and WW. This is due to mill breeding. Her color looks like opal to me

Ok thanks. I wasnt sure what species she was so this really helps. I saw pics of hybrids and she did look like one of them . Thanks again  :)

Your hamster shows some clear WW traits, which leads  e to think this color is more likely closer to Sapphire, a WW color, than Opal, an RCD color.
