CGOTM June 2022!

Alright. So, this is Cooked Good of the Month. I thought of this myself so if someone else already has this contest please tell me! Also, this is only my second go at a contest so please read everything below before entering! (I copied my form from ♥~kitkat7♥.)

 

 

What is CGOTM?

CGOTM is a contest to see who is the best cook!! Whoever enters this contest will cook something fit to the theme, then wait to see who the winner is! 1st Place and 2nd Place will get a Prize! But everyone is appreciated!

 

RULES

1. No pity posts (it looks awful, Mine tuned out wrong, etc.)

2. Anyone can enter, even previous winners

3. No photos from the internet

4. No inappropriate behavior

5. No shaming

6. Please try to follow the theme as well as you can

7. No editing photos

8. All normal HH rules apply

Entries: 7/1/2022 - 7/20/2022 (Late entries will be accepted as long as you post before the voting date

Voting: 7/21/2022 - 7/30/2022

Winner released: 7/31/22-8/1/22 (keep your eye out for the post!)

 

 

TIP: Have fun with this! Even if you are not a good baker or cook it is always fun to bake and make food! You can even ask a family member for help!

Just to clarify-it can be a baked good or something cooked (basically why food you made)? Could it be a meal with summery themes (with multiple components and/or a desert to go with it)?

It can be any food, just becasue there were some people who didn't want to cook and this was originally going to be about baking!!

 

I don't think making a big meal would be fair. Some people might not want to make a meal and so the voting would not  be very equal.

 

What I was thinking about was that some said that baking wasn't a broad enough topic. So maybe someone will make popsicles, or do something fancy with watermelon (idk) So making a meal isn't really...Needed? Do you see what i'm trying to say?

I don't know if this counts, but a few days ago I made a blueberry pie with fresh picked blueberries. Here's the picture:

 I'm sure next month more people will enter. The contests have been pretty dead recently, I only got 1 entry on art of the month aswell. I think HH is just losing active members and stuff.
