I thought i would be able to tell my grandkids about my survival against covid but i have been possibly defeated. Soo i did an antigen (not lab test but like at home) and i got positive but my sister who i am with 24/7 doesn't. Which give a chance that the test malfunctioned but we ran out of the antigen so we couldn't test again yet. Everyone else in my family is negative. I'm going to do a lab test tommorow or the day after tommorow. I'm stuck in my room and don't really have anything to do but i'm probably gonna do some art tommorow. suggestions on what to do would be great.

(also someone help me i have listened to high hopes by p!atd on loop way to many times and i don't usually listen to music)

I’m so sorry for what may be happening to you. It must be tough to know that you probably have COVID :,(. What I would do is probably write that fan fiction that I’ve been procrastinating for 5 months or write roasts for very specific people so that I can feel more powerful hehe. But I hope that all goes well for you <3333333 :heartbeat:

Ah well, once a virus is on the loose, it rarely skips people. It's going to become more infectious over time but less deadly. That's the way of viruses. You could also have been infected a while ago and just not been symptomatic, you can pop positive for a covid test for months after exposure. Many people got it and never knew they had it because they never presented symptoms. I wish you good health regardless!

I like reading books or taking walks. Maybe try something productive, like cleaning/organizing your room, do something you've been putting off doing for a while because you haven't had the time.

Hey! I’ve gone through covid twice (maybe thrice? I genuinely don’t know, it’s all a mush nowadays) this year, and each time included a two week isolation period so I kinda get where your coming from. The worst part (for me at least) was the waiting period of ‘do I really have it’ and the figuring out what to do. Personally, I watched a lot of TV, took as many walks outside as possible, and did a lot of reading.

My suggestion would be, especially if it’s long term, establish a routine and keep busy. Even if it’s as simple as ‘when I wake up, I’ll poop, shower, eat breakfast, than go on a walk’, doing something is better than rolling around in bed and waiting to see what to do. Do you have any symptoms?
