hello! i've been researching about hamsters for hours a day for the past few weeks. i've never had a hamster, but i recently ( a few hours ago ) got accepted by a local small-family pet shop! she's going to give me all the details about what is needed for hamster care and the enclosure as well as let me meet and interact with the hamsters she has in her store. i've watched so many youtube videos, but my favorite has to be plüschraupe's enclosures. they are absolutely gorgeous! i also want to create an enclosure similar to hamsterlab's natural terrarium enclosure, but i still have to do more research on that before truly diving in esp because i've never actually taken care of a hamster before! i've never even held one in my hand as of yet. the only pet i've taken care of is a dog so i do have that general understanding of how you're supposed to handle animals and everything!
idk this is a mess. i'm just really excited. i have questions and ideas that i hope to get answers and feedback on while i'm here. hopefully i'll be able to change my profile pic to my very own hamster one day. it's nice to meet you all & i'm so glad there's a welcoming and warm-hearted community specially for these lovely hamsters.
