I was wondering if these plants are safe to put in the cage (the whole plant). Thanks!

Parsley

Dill

Daises

Marigold

Basil

Cat Grass (Wheat Grass)

Dandelion

Pea plant

If there are more safe plants, let me know! Thank you! (I have a 20" cage - so anything that usually fits in that height).

I've never had full plants in my cage however I think spider plants also make decent cage plants. I am pretty sure that's what Erin's Animal (now Something Animal) uses her in her cages.

So good. All of these plants are safe for hamsters. Besides, clover and watercress are generally enjoyed by hamsters and eaten with relish.
