Hi everyone,
I recently went to Kroger and found "Simple truth freeze dried strawberries" it's a 28 gram bag, and in total is 15 grams of sugar per bag (there's no added sugars), and I was wondering if it's to much sugar for my hammy? If they are safe how many should I give my hammy? The only ingredient is strawberries

* Sorry for anyone who does not know what Kroger is (its a grocery store), Simple truth (brand), or grams (weight measurements)*

Natural sugars are different than added sugars

If your hamster is a dwarf then I wouldn’t feed it because of the sugar content (especially for hybrids) but if they are a Syrian then I would say that small amounts would be a good treat

Hi! If there are no added sugars it should be completely safe! Fruits in general tend to have a lot of sugar, so just feed in moderation! A small piece every couple days would work, I believe! ❤️
