Marine parade hawker center got a cha kueh tiao stall very nice :)
But pls b advise tis kinda food contain alot oil :P lolx

as long as you eat it once in awhile, it should be okay, the char kuay teow at old airport road market is also very nice, the stall name is lao fu zhi, there is also another one at hong lim market, the stall name is outram park fried kuay teow, be prepared to wait up to half an hour ya :P

have you tried katong laksa?

The one w/o the chopsticks? I tried one b4, claiming 2b katong laksa, but so so only leh. There's another one I tried at the XO bee hoon coffeeshop, quite good.

nope, not that stall, mine was serve with chopstick.

i would like to recommend to you guys this stall selling fried fish soup, it is called the (blanco court) kim kee fried fish soup, it is located at 51, telok ayer street, china square #01-10, it opens daily from 10am to 9 pm, the fish is very fresh, try it for yourself ya, happy eating ya

huh? then which stall u are referring to? I have tried a couple of laksa stalls at katong... hmmm... not really that fantastic lei... and a lot of them claimed to be the original katong laksa... kekeke... dunno which one is telling the truth... :faint:

i tried the stall near the 7 -11, can't really remember the name of the stall already, sorry.

the vegetarian noodles and "blanco court" kway chap at buona vista market are quite good. the vegetarian stall always have a long q during lunch time.

there's a very good teochew beef noodles stall at amoy hawker centre, i feel is as good as the one at hougang.
