Part of my reaction to Proactive I think is because I am allergic to sulfur....and one of Proactive's ingredients is.......Sulfur! :shy:

Ahh, yeah, I can see how that would cause a problem.

I use Aveeno Positively Radiant and it works well...it tones your skin too..i have zits from time to time & it helps for them too...i used to make soap, and i made a few bars that really worked for me..
here's the recipe:
4 1x1 in. glycerin soap cubes
almond oil
cornmeal
lavender
Dried Chammomile flowers
that worked great..my skin wasn't as oily after i used it.

Wow, that's really cool! And it looks like it would smell very pretty with the lavender and chammomile. :D

i have been using olay uv whitening lotion for quite long, around 5 yrs. it really make yr dark skin to a fairer skin but its quite oily. i used estee lauder re-nutriv,ultimate lifting eye cream, for dark circles eyes, it really works but is expensive. now looking for something to lighten dark spots. try estee lauder whitelight ex, brightening serum before, not much effect, dark spots still there. any recommendations?

I haven't had many pimples, and I'm thirteen. I don't think I've reached puberty yet, but I do get an occasional pimple, and I use Oxypads, the ones with the dark blue cap...

There's also these patches I got. I found them at the dollar store. I know that sounds like they wouldn't work, but you wear them for one night and then the next day the pimple is like GONE! It's really cool.

My favorite brand of skincare is something called "Cocoa Butter Formula". It smells really good and is good for you're hands. It will make you're hands good smelling and soft. :rainbow: :star: Is Jennifer_neo here?

Oh yeah, things with Cocoa butter or shea butter are great at moisturizing your skin. They really do leave it soft. :D

I try my best not to use any products that test on animals but Clean and Clear and Bioderm are real good !!

Also, i bought that new Neutrogena (sp?) Trio that has treatment, concealer, and powder all in one case. So helpful !

I love lancome's hydrazen products. But being in a contact post means that I am broke. :) I use Oil of Ulay. Cheap and simple. hehe.

Is there a list of products on hh that have been tested on animals? Any proof?

allergy

how i usually tell ->
so far all the japanese products i encountered are tested. i think when a company do not test they usually leave a statement to say that they don't. the label can be either "cruelty free", "not tested on animals" "contains no animal derivaties" "against animal testing" etc... or look out for that "bunny logo"

list of companies that test on animals (though very limited):
