And I will too! There's no way I won't be at a show if its within 3 hours of my house.
Sadly I've never heard of an HMV or a CD Plus store, and even if I had I'm sure they wouldn't carry AOF merchandise. Like I said, they're literally unheard of here. The only people who even know about them are the City & Colour fans, which is a small but strong fanbase. We sold out the show here, and then he came back a week later and played a secret concert that was announced only a day before, and that sold out too. He played that concert with The Color Fred though, so some of the 250 people there could have been there for Fred.

I'm just blessed to have seen him live at all. I'll never forget that show.

Oh, maybe they're only Canadian stores. :O

You could always resport to possibly ordering them offline? But then again, the internet pretty much sucks for that haha.

They have HMV in the UK, I'm pretty sure.
Though the section in my closest shopping center [and most people in the UK] for a music store is constantly changing. FIrst it was...Virgin. Then HMV. Then Virgin. Then HMV. Then Zavvi. And I think they've got plans to change again o_O

HMV is my new home, being that Zavvi went and had a financial crisis on me.. and I have loads of gift vouchers for it. I found out that the bookshop Waterstones is owned by the HMV group the other day.. well I found it interesting anyway.

What's also amusing is talking about slightly embarrassing crushes on celebrities.. you know the kind you're not entirely inclined to admit to your friends.. *cough*Michael McIntyre*cough*

Speaking of which, I actually had a very interesting conversation with this guy in math today about it.

LOL Ilovetilt battle of the Davids continues!
I was a bit obsessed with David Cook last year, ever since he sang Always Be My Baby. Week 7, I think? I was actually a huge fan of Archie's as well, but then I felt compelled to pick-and-choose so I went with David Cook, especially after he continuously reinvented his style week after week. Anyway, my obsession continued after he won and for the majority of the summer, but once I went back to school I kind of stopped thinking about it (and stopped posting on *cough*A David Cook fan-forum*cough* so now he's kind of in the back of my head. But every time I hear one of his songs, or even the word 'plethora' for that matter, my heart kinda smiles.


AND NOW TIME FOR ANOTHER DALLAS PICTURE because he's pretty :



And now back to the topic.

I am extremely open with my friends about my celebrity crush; probably because none of them even know who Dallas is-- makes it far less embarassing to swoon in public. But I convinced two of my best friends that he's amazing, burned them CD's of his work and they both agree that he's fabulous. My closest friend even downloaded AOF and C&C on iTunes! So I'm slowly trying to build Mr. Green's fanbase, but not too much; I still want him to be the unknown little talented guy who plays tiny venues and secret shows in America. Because I'm selfish that way.

Which is funny because I'm totally 100% about real-life crushes. I liked my brother's best friend for over a year in high school and never said a word to either of them about it. They probably still don't know.

I've started to get more and more obsessed with Jason Mraz.
He's not just become someone I have a little crush on, and is pretty much at the same level as David Tennant atm.
His songs are awesome, he's also a really nice person.
Like, he seems to love life and is happy with how everything is and I duno. I just admire people like that in general too.
And I love reading his blogs. He does alot of touring but seems to still have time for blogs. And he sometimes includes abit of...dark humour ;)
He's also pretty cute too

Still, Jeff's number one. He's still amazing. I've been a fan of him forever, and with his contract running out my obsession is only getting stronger. Plus, Jeff's voice is amazing. I love how people from NC talk xD
