Hi! I've been working on these hamster trading cards. Some are of my hamsters, and other things, like food...


That's the first one I made...


The second one..


The third one I made. Sunflower seeds!


The fourth one I made.. If you noticed, there are specific
background colors for each type of card.


Sigh... Chocola... I miss her so much.


Hawk's hamster Charlie! I was never able to get a really good picture, because Hawk never posts any, or sends me any, so I took this picture at Hawk's birthday. Isn't Charlie cute?

hey, i think this is an excellent idea and you made some great looking trading cards! they look like real ones! if only there's a way to trade cards on the forum, i think that would be fun!

scabbers... this is fantastic! the trading card is an awesome idea and the cards you made are sweet and well done! you are indeed talented! I will also make some trading cards (try to keep to your style/ design and size) of my hamsters and post them up later!

Okay. Sounds like a great idea Hamster Boss! Will Small Ears be on one? Small Ears is so cute!

This is what the colors are:
Red- Male Hamster (any Breed)
Purple- Female hamster (any Breed)
Blue- something that a hamster would eat (treats..Food, seeds)
Green- A hamster Toy

The text is a darker color than the background. Example: Pale green background. The text should be a Forest Green color.

Please notice I messed up on Seed Mix... I forgot to change the text to darker blue... I suppose everyone messes up sometimes...

Hmm... Maybe using the cards in an educational way, you could use them on the HH website! They can show what each thing is in a different way. Just a thought...

Scabbers, I just remembered something. I have a bussiness card making program. I might be able to make them into actual cards. I will see if I can do it.

Yes, I know. I know from those Business Cards you gave out last year... The ones with the very old e-mail address on it.
I think it is possible to make them into trading cards... But don't they have to be Copyrighted, and that other stuff so no one can steal your idea? But it would be fun just to print them out onto thick paper like baseball cards, and other cards. Then the cards wouldn't be so light and can easily be torn in half...

How about I make them and just right in small print, somthing like "Created by scabbers, Published by The Hawk"

I wont do Charlie's one yet, because the picture should be a better one. You could look on my website for a good oneif you want, or use my avatar.

It sounds like a great idea!

Hamster Boss: I forgot to mention this. If your going to make your own
cards like these, the actual card size I used is 200X300. (widthXheight)

The picture on the top is 124X164. (heightXwidth) The text box can be as big as you want, and the text size I used was Times New Roman and it was 8,9,10. But since the cards you make are your own, you can change them however you want.

I started making the cards. At the bottom it says: "Creator: Scabbers," and, "Publisher: The Hawk."

At the top it says "Hamster Trading Cards"

Is this okay with youm, Scabbers.

Yes, yes.
I am going to make more, but maybe I'll just keep showing them on Hamster Hideout, and I plan on making a website to keep them on, so it'll be a huge collection.
