I think tattoos are great! I have 3!
It is only to note though that as obvious as it is, a tattoo is permanent. I got two on my upper back when I was 18. Sadly, I didn't go to a good tattoo artist and opted for cheaper price over quality. I now regret the tattoos bc they destroyed my body :( I got bad scarring. But don't let my experience damper your choice. Just as a general note pick a good tattoo artist even if it expensive:)

LOVE tattoos. Will be covered in them one day when I have enough monies!  :starry-eyed:

For now, just got the 4 (all photos were taken just after tattoos were done so they look a little red in some of the photos!)

Starting with the most recent, finished April 2014:

In my opinion tattoos are a certain type of art however think of when u get older and it fades and when u don't want it any more what would u do because it's expensive and painful for it to be removed and sometimes it expensive to get removed

I drew a tattoo of an Apple (from Apple devises), on my wrist, since I love Apple devises (and have a lot of them. (iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPod Touch 4, iPod touch 6, iPod, iPhone 4S, and soon to be iMac and iWatch.)) I might provide a picture later.

I plan on getting six, but its a little ways away. I'll be getting tats with much of my family on my upper arms, a tiny lil hamster on my wrist, and probably some of my own on my lower arms.  :veryhappy:  :veryhappy:

When I'm older, I might consider something really small. Just, if you are getting a tattoo, DON'T get something big. It might look great now, but when you get old and your skin sags...ehhhhhh...it's gonna be a leeeetle bit distorted, and not look so great anymore. And if your taste changes, you're kind of stuck with it.  And make sure to go to a reputable place that doesn't just use the same needle over and over so you don't wind up with some horrible disease.

I agree. I like the thought of a tattoo, but I would only want to get a teeny tiny one on my ankle or something.

I think it’d be cool to be a tattoo artist though I know I’d never be able to because I’m way to clumsy lol.

I really want one when I'm older, my mom is completely against it, because apparently in europe having a tattoo means you've been to jail  and my family is from europe. I originally wanted a cat tattoo, but now I don't know what it should be, because at school everyone knows me as 'the shy girl that likes cats and hamsters' so I want something different.

I used to be a tattoo artist (I suppose I am one still just not employed) so of course I love tattoos! They are a life long commitment and should be thought about, but you're always free to make your own decisions about your own body! After all its only you who will truly love or regret it. I have a chest tattoo, and 2 tattoos covering both my forearms on the inside. I'm a big believer of not only thinking well and hard about what your tattoo will be, but also where its place. Different places will mean different things to people, and of course they vary the pain level! Tattoos are dull pain, but since its persistent and done with a needle, it can cause shock. I got my first tattoo on my chest which is NOT recommended, seeing as the pain level is high compared to other places on the body, and I actually came a little close to going into shock. See, it can happen to anyone. Also, like I mentioned the placement can control how other people see you, which is WRONG, but happens. Face, neck, head, and hands are generally considered "dangerous" looking, and most artist won't even tattoo you here unless you have a collection of tattoos already! Its not a snobby thing as many people think, its actually just so we know you understand the stigmata of those tattoos and what you're getting into. A lot of jobs will be cut off from you, acceptance into certain areas or business will be restricted, and so on. So yes, tattoos are great, when they are seriously considered.

My twin ans I want to get matching conjoined twin skeletons. The thing that sucks is I have fibromyalgia ans I cant get tattooed on most of my body because of the severe pain. So a painful tattoo will be extra painful. Sadly I want to get some. My dream is to get a pinup
