I've been looking for tips for hot weather and awesome advice, thank you. Its been around 80F in the house, so i bought a little fan just for her, i have it so it puts a little cross breeze in her home.

Cold Water is for them to drink. They can't get their fur wet. Idk. They do hibernate though. It can't be to hot though.

They don't hibernate, their metabolism slows as does heart rate in response to reduced temperatures. This is dormancy, not hibernation. In humans this is called hypothermia.

The room that my hamster is in which is the room i'm always in other than when I sleep is really cold during the winter months. It used to be a porch so it's all glassed in, not a lot of heat gets in the room either. What I do to keep my hamster warm is take a camping light that you can buy at any hardware store and put a 75 watt bulb in it. I set it face down on my hamsters bin cage(I have hardware mesh on the lid) so it's pretty toasty in the middle of the cage. I wouldn't point it on their house or anything though.

Picture is kinda dark but you get the jist. xD
