Anyone know any tips to make the pic smaller? It keeps saying it's too big

You can use a free program like picmonkey.com to resize it :)

Thats exactly problem. I have tried a million different pictures and it just keeps saying theyre too  big. Its so frustrating as i have really cute pictures!!

Anyone have any tips?

I still can't figure mine out!! It's says URL not valid!! Meh!!! Someone please help! I clicked on the browse button and downloaded a picture of my hammy but it just comes up as a link. Let me know! đŸč

I've been following all the tutorials and am having some difficulty. I'm normally pretty tech-savvy but I'm stuck. As you can see my profile pic is of my ham, but it's the wrong way around. When I uploaded it to my computer it wasn't like that, so I put it on Imgur, flipped it and resized it, but when I try to upload it as my profile picture using the link it says "Could not save the URL image specified"

I'm pretty tech savvy. But it isn't working. I don't want to use my Gravatar account because that's personal. So I wanted to do a file or an URL address. But neither are working. Why not? *PS I joined today.* Only Gravatar works.

No, you shouldn’t have to wait to change your profile picture at all. Do you possibly know what’s preventing you from changing it? Are you getting some type of message?

I figured it out. I needed to resize the image to apply to your settings.
