I didn't know what to call this but I am really bored right now so...yeah.

This is a topic to share your period stories and ask "girly" questions when you are experiencing changes in your body and such. I think it will help many girls (like me :p) get answers to those awkward questions that you might have.

So...I guess I will talk a little bit and maybe ask a few questions.

So when I started my period all I had was a few pads my mom gave me and like a stockpile of liners and 2 boxes of tampons. I was at the grocery store and I felt "wet" down there but I didn't think anything of it. When we were home and I went to use the bathroom I realized I had started today, I had no signs of it either. Luckily I was sorta prepared hehe. I actually started when I was 10...and I'm 11 now about to turn 12 lol. I actually started wearing tampons on my 3rd or 4th period because I was pretty active then and still am.

So...then...I guess....the topic is now started...and feel free to ask questions and....uh tell stories and such :p

EDIT I HAD TO REDO THIS SO PLEASE READ!!!

Hey all! This isn't going to be thought through well, *read my status update tonight haha*

So, shall I get started?  :veryhappy:

Okay, so I have saw that a lot of people thing this topic was purely meant for periods, well, thats a lie.  We are all women here and are ready to help in any way, shape or form. Don't hesitate to ask a question or share something. I am now breaking the barriers that I wouldn't have to break if this wasn't told earlier (sorry, my mistake, haha).  :rotfl: Boobs, "that area between your legs", booty ( idk LOL), sexual things (that your parents and friends cant know), emotions/feelings, and anything else related to woman hood haha.  :D We are all here to HELP other girls with life and its fears/problems.  :applause: Don't be scared to ask! Nobody is going to judge you here! If you have questions that aren't allowed for the forums eyes, PM me! I swear, ANYTHING! I know a lot for my age, LOL! Don't be scared, we all have questions/things we would like to know/share that our parents and friends IRL shouldn't here. But here, its different. We are a large group of women willing to help! :heartbeat: Come along, share your problems, and be a part of the club!  :chat:  :grouphug:

I got mine not that long ago actually. I think I was the last one in my grade! Its been about 4 going on 5 months? Of which my 14 birthday happened. I am yet to find a good pad though..... (Some don't do enough, others are very.... um visible if I wear leggings)

I always know though when I am going to get my period-I'll get heavy cramping at around 10 pm, and that night I'll get it.

Why are you scared? I dunno, before I got mine I was hoping I'd get it soon and now I'm like "Just 30 more years and then I am done with this" lol.

And twelve is early still. I believe if your older than 16, then you can start worrying.

Even then you shouldn't be worrying- everyone starts at different times and some could even be 19 when they have their first period, it depends on your body :)

I think 16 is when you have to see a doctor? Because, while everyone matures differently, mostly everyone has matured by sixteen, so your suppose to check in and make sure everything is normal.

Yes, I think that's true, but the word 'worrying' came across as if you were saying there would be something wrong with you. I can see that isn't the case, though :)

Well, i have a funny story.

3-4 years ago when i started mine (i had extremely heavy periods, could barely go to school) but this day i didn't expect it to come, got off my seat to go to lunch and the chair was soaked in blood (apparently). The teacher realized and cleaned it up. I was so horrified that she got someone to come tell me. // i'm on continuous bc now though, so i don't miss school because of it (and i don't feel like my insides are ripping out, yay).

Are they fun? No, not really. Are there days when you curse out the male race because you think they have it easy? Yep. But I dunno, I've kinda have started to get a system down, and its not as bad as the first or second time anymore. (I was going to say a bad pun but its such a bad pun and this is taking a lot to resist putting it here)

Almost everyone has their period  :faint:  I don't!

I'm above the typical age range that periods usually start but I've recently been getting really horrible cramps...ahem...down there... Ugh. I don't want to deal with this.
