Another reliable vet in the Toronto, Ontario area is Musson Mobile Vet; whom I want to switch over to very soon.

She's worked with a variety of rescues in the area including Piggles Rescue, doing surgery for their pigs, and treatment.

She's got a few hamster clients as well, so she definitely has experience, alongside rabbits, dogs, cats, and even reptiles.

Her website is : http://www.mmvet.ca

She services many parts of the Toronto Area, and being mobile means she can reach a variety of people that can't drive!

Haha I see my vet :)

I think theres another vet in my county that treats small animals, but they don't have a website :/ Plus they are so expensive. (They charge twice as much or more than my vet).

Is there a certain vet that the price is cheaper? I'm trying to save up in case I need to bring my hamster to the vet.

I would suggest calling your local vets and getting an idea of their services and prices. That way you have a vet already picked out before you actually need one :)

I'm asking because I haven't gone to any vet before and I'm a little short on money.

I understand, just explaining that the best answer to your question is going to be from the vet directly. :) You may even find one that will do payment plans if you need to. Do you have an animal shelter or rescue nearby? Find out what vet they're partnered with, from my experience that tends to be the least expensive vet in the area.

Hm... I live in Singapore and the closest one would be the Animal Recovery Centre at Serangoon. It isn't exactly very very near, but it is the nearest one.

It says Winsconsin instead of Wisconsin for the US one... I was a bit confused at first.

hi Meg, could you post a separate topic in the main Ailments forum?
that way, more people will see it and be able to respond to you.
nobody will think to look in this topic to help somebody's sick
hamster, those topics are in the main Ailments forum.
