Also, scientific calculators (and any calculator more "complicated" than that) will sort out the order itself, so you can push things in as you like, and the calculator will figure out the order of operations for you.
Be really, really careful with relying on a calculator ;) ..... I've got a Texas Voyage 200, which can do algebra, 3D graphing etc and it wouldn't let me get away with this

I loved maths when I was at primary school but really switched-off when I went to secondary school.... Stick with the maths because, as soon as you get beyond the basics, it starts to open up into a really beautiful subject
